BIRKIN MANIA De nieuwe bruidscollectie van @elisabettapolignano was een ode aan de op 16 juli 2023 overleden @janebirkinoff.
Jane Birkin is, decennia na haar debuut, een van de meest gevierde muses van de modewereld geweest. Haar unieke stijl is tot op vandaag een inspiratie voor modeontwerpers. Bij Birkin waren de shorts écht kort, was het witte T-shirt alomtegenwoordig in haar garderobe en crochet jurken niet weg te denken uit de sixties en seventies. Haar aesthetic was een combinatie van Parijse elegantie en je ne sais pas quoi en de nonchalance van het bruisende Londen. Jane Mallory Birkin was a British and French actress and singer. She was a fashion icon in the 1960s and 1970s. The most special fashion show of the @barcelonabridalfashionweek_ … The Maison @giambattistavalliparis exclusively celebrated the runway debut of its bridal collection. In a show full of emotion and elegance, Giambattista Valli’s 30 creations shone with their own light. It was a culmination of silhouettes, representing a comprehensive exhibition of Mr. Valli’s concept of contemporary bridal dressing, inviting his audience to witness the manifestation of his vision, translated into a presentation that embodies the essence of individuality, sharing a dream and a celebration and love. De modeshow van @alexismabille tijdens Haute Couture Week in Parijs was er eentje om echt nooit te vergeten. Zoveel mooie jurken toverde de ontwerper uit zijn hoed. Hoe ik nadien in de backstage belandde, weet ik niet, maar bon… geniet mee van de uitgelaten sfeer aan het einde van de show.
